Clean Commute Fridays in May
Ride Solutions invites everyone to join them for Clean Commute Friday by commuting to work by biking, walking, riding the bus, or carpooling on one or more Fridays in May. Pick one Friday to try a clean commute mode, or challenge yourself to carpool, bike, bus, walk or telecommute every Friday. Each day pledged is an entry for the prize drawing giving you a chance at some great prizes. There’s a Cleanest Team competition open to any group (workplace, clubs, informal groups), too.
- Air pollution effects the health and quality of life of everyone in the region. As summer approaches, so does ozone season, when car exhaust and heat can combine to form heavy amounts of unhealthy, ground-level ozone.
- Take the pledge: http://www.ridesolutions.org/cleancommute/pledge.asp or go to http://www.ridesolutions.org/cleancommute/index/shtml for more information.
